On Saturday, 21st September 2024, we gathered again with our esteemed colleagues, the Mystery Shoppers for the 11th Mystery Shoppers Conference.
A personal meeting at such an event is important to us, because Mystery Shoppers are the most important link in order to obtain information from which companies, our clients, draw ideas for their new strategies and improvements. It gives us great pleasure to be able to meet in person and to exchange opinions and experiences. Only together can we achieve positive changes in providing quality user experiences.
In the first part of the conference, we presented innovations from the world of Mystery Shopping, from this year’s international conference of the MSPA association. The increasingly frequent use of artificial intelligence is also getting involved in our field, where, for the time being, the solid foundation still remains thee “mechanical” work of the Mystery Shopper.
Through video interviews, two representatives of companies with whom we cooperate and where they have been using Mystery Shopping for many years and improving the quality of their service also gave their experiences with Mystery Shopping.
From the recorded video call, the president of the international association MSPA Europe/Africa, Mr. Václav Šojdel gave his global perspective and further confirmed why our work as a Mystery Shopping matters.
The conference would not be complete without an exchange of views. In the second part, we held a workshop where we tried to switch roles on the topic: “Nightmares” of Project Managers & Mystery Shoppers. A group discussion followed. Then we had the Project Managers guess what kind of “Nightmares” Mystery Shoppers face. Of course, we came to the conclusion that these “Nightmares” should be avoided as much as possible, both on one side and on the other.
Four of our colleagues, Mystery Shoppers, who have been working with us for more than 10, 15 years, gave their experiences and advice to other Mystery Shoppers at the round table. We learned how they face the work instructions, how they effectively prepare for assessments and how they simplify the steps so that the implementation is also easy and the writing of the report is short and concise.
At the end, we drew lucky winners among the participants, who took home prizes and turned the meeting into a pleasant gathering.
The lecture, discussion and the entire event were led by our Project Managers and the Director.
